Getting There

• Public Bus

  From your accommodation in Punta Cana, walk to the nearest local bus stop. Look for a bus heading towards Bávaro. Most buses will have a sign indicating their route. When you board the bus, let the driver know you want to get off at Av. Alemania. The fare is typically very inexpensive, around 1-2 USD. Once you arrive at Av. Alemania, disembark and walk for about 10 minutes towards the direction of the beach. Katmandu Park will be located on your left. Look for the entrance with vibrant signage.

• Shared Shuttle

  If you prefer a more comfortable option, consider booking a shared shuttle service. You can do this through your hotel or a local tour operator. Provide them with your pickup location and specify Katmandu Park as your destination. The shuttle will pick you up from your hotel and drop you off directly at the park entrance. This option typically costs around 10-15 USD per person.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby in the Bávaro area, walking to Katmandu Park can be a pleasant option. Start from your hotel and head towards Av. Alemania. Continue straight for about 1 mile (1.6 kilometers). You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. As you approach the park, keep an eye out for the large entrance signs. It should be on your left side once you reach the intersection with the main road.

• Bicycle Rental

  For a more active approach, consider renting a bicycle from a nearby rental service. Many hotels offer bike rentals or you can find local shops that do. Once you have your bike, head towards Av. Alemania, and follow the road for about 1 mile (1.6 kilometers). Riding along the designated bike lanes will be safe and enjoyable. Upon nearing Katmandu Park, watch for the entrance on your left side.
