Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the Bavaro area, start by heading towards the main road, Avenida Estados Unidos. Walk towards the north until you reach the intersection with Avenida Alemania. Continue straight on Avenida Alemania until you reach the beachfront area. The Beachfront Pool/Pool of the Dominicanos at Playa Coral is located near the beach; look for signs indicating 'Piscina Del Mar' or 'Piscina de los Dominicanos'. This walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on your starting location.

• Bicycle

  You can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Bavaro. Once you have a bike, head towards Avenida Estados Unidos and cycle north towards Avenida Alemania. Continue on Avenida Alemania until you reach the beach area. The Beachfront Pool is located by the ocean, so you may need to park your bike at a designated area nearby. This option is quicker than walking and allows you to explore the area at your leisure.

• Local Bus

  Take the local bus (often called 'guagua') from various points in Bavaro. Look for a bus heading towards Punta Cana or the beach. The fare is usually around 50 Dominican Pesos (approximately $1 USD). Inform the driver that you want to get off at the beach near Playa Coral. Once you get off, follow the beach path to your left or right (depending on your drop-off point) until you reach the Beachfront Pool. This journey can take around 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, consider taking a taxi. Taxis are readily available in Bavaro. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand; a typical ride to the Beachfront Pool would cost around 500-800 Dominican Pesos (approximately $10-$15 USD). Provide the driver with the address 'MHFW+2G5, Punta Cana 23000' or simply say 'Playa Coral'. This option is the fastest and most convenient, taking around 10-15 minutes.
