Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from the center of Samaná, head south on Avenida La Marina. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers. You will reach the intersection with Carretera Samaná - Río San Juan. Turn left onto this road and follow it for approximately 5 kilometers until you see the signs for Cascada Lulu. After about 1 kilometer, you will arrive at the parking area near the entrance to the waterfall. Note that parking may incur a small fee, usually around 100 pesos.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Cascada Lulu using public transport, you will need to take a guagua (shared taxi) from Samaná to the town of El Limón. Look for guaguas at the main bus station in Samaná. The fare is typically around 50 pesos. Once you arrive in El Limón, you can either hire a motoconcho (motorcycle taxi) to take you directly to the waterfall for about 200 pesos or you can walk the remaining distance, which is approximately 3 kilometers along a scenic path. The walk will take about 30-40 minutes, and you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
