Car
If you are driving from Samaná town, head southwest on Av. Libertad towards Calle 27 de Febrero. Continue straight to merge onto Carretera Samaná - Sánchez. Follow this road for about 8 km until you reach the intersection with Carretera El Limón. Turn left onto Carretera El Limón and continue for approximately 6 km until you reach a sign for Coconut River Falls. There is a small parking area near the falls, where you can leave your car.
Public Transportation (Guagua)
To reach Coconut River Falls via public transportation, take a guagua (shared minibus) from Samaná to El Limón. Guaguas depart from the main terminal in Samaná and cost around 50 DOP. Inform the driver that you are going to El Limón, and they will drop you off at the main road. From there, you will need to take a taxi or walk about 3 km to the falls. The taxi fare is approximately 200 DOP.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the main road where the guagua drops you off, follow the path leading towards the Coconut River Falls. This journey is about 3 km and can take about 45 minutes. The route is scenic but be prepared for uneven terrain; wearing comfortable shoes is recommended.
