Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from the Parque Colón, walk towards the Calle de las Damas. Turn left onto Calle de las Damas and continue straight until you reach the intersection with C. Emiliano Tejera. Turn right onto C. Emiliano Tejera, and you will find the Frey Nicolás de Ovando Monument at number 51 on your left, just a short walk from the intersection.

    From the Alcázar de Colón, exit onto Calle de las Damas and head east. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with C. Emiliano Tejera. Turn left onto C. Emiliano Tejera, and the monument will be located at number 51 on your left side.

  • Public Transport

    If you are near the Metro station at Centro Olímpico, take the Metro Line 1 towards Los Prados. Get off at the 'Joaquín Balaguer' station. From there, exit and take a local bus or walk towards the Zona Colonial, heading south on Av. George Washington until you reach the Zona Colonial.
