Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Colonial Zone (Zona Colonial), head east on Calle de las Damas. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle José María Imbert. Turn left onto José María Imbert and walk until you reach the intersection with Avenida del Puerto. Cross Avenida del Puerto and continue walking straight onto Calle Cañada. Follow Calle Cañada until you reach the end, where you'll find Independence Park on your left, located at C. Mariano Cesteros.

Public Transportation (Bus)
From the Colonial Zone, you can take a public bus (carro público) heading towards Ciudad Nueva. Look for buses marked 'El Malecon' or 'La Feria.' Get off at the stop near Avenida del Puerto and Calle Cañada. From there, walk a short distance to the park, which will be located at C. Mariano Cesteros. The park will be to your left.
