    Getting There

    Walking

    If you're in the Colonial Zone, walk towards the Avenida George Washington (also known as El Malecón). Head southeast along El Malecón until you reach the intersection with Calle Paseo de los Reyes Católicos. Turn left onto Calle Paseo de los Reyes Católicos and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle 30 de Marzo. Continue on Calle 30 de Marzo for about 10 minutes, then turn right onto Calle Mariano Cesteros. Independence Park will be on your left, just a short distance down the road.

    Public Transport

    From the Colonial Zone, head to the nearest bus stop and take a 'carrito' (small bus) heading towards the area of Ciudad Nueva. Ask the driver to drop you off near the intersection of Calle 30 de Marzo and Calle Mariano Cesteros. Once you get off, walk down Calle Mariano Cesteros for about 5 minutes, and you will find Independence Park on your left.

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Santo Domingo. Tell the driver to take you to Independence Park (Parque Independencia), located at F4C5+H44, C. Mariano Cesteros. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
