Head southeast along El Malecón until you reach the intersection with Calle Paseo de los Reyes Católicos. Turn left onto Calle Paseo de los Reyes Católicos and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle 30 de Marzo. Continue on Calle 30 de Marzo for about 10 minutes, then turn right onto Calle Mariano Cesteros. Independence Park will be on your left, just a short distance down the road.

From the Colonial Zone, head to the nearest bus stop and take a 'carrito' (small bus) heading towards the area of Ciudad Nueva. Ask the driver to drop you off near the intersection of Calle 30 de Marzo and Calle Mariano Cesteros. Once you get off, walk down Calle Mariano Cesteros for about 5 minutes, and you will find Independence Park on your left.
