From anywhere in Puerto Ayora, take a local bus or taxi to the main dock area. The bus fare is usually around $0.50. Once at the dock, you will need to take a small boat (water taxi) to the entrance of Las Grietas. The water taxi fare is about $1.00 per person. The boat ride takes approximately 10-15 minutes.

After arriving at the dock, you will disembark and follow the marked trail towards Las Grietas. The hike is relatively easy, taking about 20-30 minutes on foot. The trail is well-marked, and you'll enjoy views of the surrounding landscape. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

If you choose to rent a car while in Galápagos, drive to Puerto Ayora. From the town center, head towards the main dock area. After parking your vehicle in a designated parking area, follow the same instructions as above for public transportation to reach Las Grietas.
