Getting There

• Walking

  From the central square of Macas (Plaza Central), head northeast on Avenida 1 de Mayo until you reach the intersection with Calle 9 de Octubre. Turn left onto Calle 9 de Octubre and walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the bus terminal. At the terminal, look for a bus heading to Asunción. Board the bus and inform the driver that you want to get off at Cascadas Kintia Panki. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the designated stop (around 7km from the main road), you will see a sign for Cascadas Kintia Panki. From the bus stop, it's about a 15-minute walk to the waterfalls, following the path indicated by local signs.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Macas. Start from the Plaza Central and head northeast on Avenida 1 de Mayo. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle 9 de Octubre, then turn left. Follow Calle 9 de Octubre to the bus terminal and take the same route as described above. After reaching the bus terminal, continue on the road toward Asunción for about 7 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Cascadas Kintia Panki. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.

• Local Transport

  Another option is to use local transport services such as pick-up trucks or shared taxis that operate from the main square in Macas. Head to the area near the Plaza Central where these transport options gather. Ask for a ride to Cascadas Kintia Panki or Asunción. Discuss the fare with the driver before boarding. The journey should take around 30 minutes. Once you are dropped off near the entrance, you may have to walk on foot for about 15 minutes following the signs to the waterfalls.
