    The Malecón is easily accessible on foot from most locations in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. If you're starting from the central area, simply head towards the waterfront and walk down Avenida Charles Darwin, which leads directly to the harbor. As you approach the water, you'll see the promenade along the coast. Continue walking along the promenade, and you will reach Malecón San Cristobal. From the Galapagos National Park Visitor Center, exit the center and turn right onto Avenida Charles Darwin. Walk straight for about 5-7 minutes until you reach the harbor area. Once you see the waterfront, follow the promenade that leads to Malecón San Cristobal.

    Taxis are readily available in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. A short taxi ride from anywhere in town to the Malecón should cost around $1 to $2. Taxis are usually white pickup trucks. If you're arriving from the San Cristobal Airport (SCY), a taxi to the Malecón will also cost approximately $2 to $4. You can find taxis waiting outside the terminal.
