Walking
If you are starting from the Plaza Foch area, head south on Avenida 6 de Diciembre until you reach the intersection with Avenida Patria. Turn left onto Avenida Patria and continue walking for about 15 minutes. You will see the iconic Basilica del Voto Nacional on your right. Continue straight until you reach the Plaza de la Independencia.

From the Mariscal district, take the Ecovía bus from the stop 'Mariscal Sucre' heading towards 'La Ofelia'. Get off at the 'Calle 18 de Septiembre' stop. From there, walk 5 minutes south along Calle 18 de Septiembre, then turn left onto Chile Street, and you will arrive at Independence Square.
