Getting There

    If you are near the Alexandria Corniche, start walking towards the east. Follow the Corniche until you reach the intersection with Saad Zaghloul Street. Turn left onto Saad Zaghloul Street. Continue walking straight for about 1 km. You will pass various shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the large sign of the Alexandria Bibliotheca at the end of the street. The Bibliotheca is located at the intersection of Saad Zaghloul Street and the main entrance to the library area.

  • Metro

    If you are near the Attarine Metro Station, board the metro train heading towards the El-Montazah station. Get off at the next station, which is the Saad Zaghloul station. Upon exiting the station, turn left and walk down Saad Zaghloul Street for about 10 minutes. The Alexandria Bibliotheca will be on your right-hand side.

    Locate the nearest bus stop serving Route 915, which goes towards the Alexandria Bibliotheca. Board the bus and remain on it until you reach the 'Bibliotheca' stop. Once you get off, you will see the library directly in front of you. Walk straight towards the entrance.
