If you are starting from the Alexandria Corniche, head towards the Mediterranean Sea. Walk along the promenade for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the Fort of Qaitbay. The citadel is located at the eastern end of the Corniche, near the entrance of the harbor. Look for the large stone structure with tall walls and towers.

Locate the nearest bus stop that has routes heading towards Al Gomrok. Board a bus that indicates it is going to the Al Gomrok district. After approximately 20-30 minutes, disembark at the Al Gomrok stop. From there, walk towards the coast for about 10 minutes, following signs towards Qaitbay Citadel.
