Walking
If you are starting from Asyut city center, head south towards Al Walideyah Al Qebleyah. You can begin at the main square, Al Midan al Ahram, and walk towards Al Gomhoria Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Al Kawmiyah Street. Turn left and keep walking for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by several shops and local cafes. Stay on the right side of the road until you reach the area known as 55RG+W57. نفق السلام will be located on your left side, look for the hiking area sign.
Public Transport
From Asyut’s central bus station, take a microbus heading towards Al Walideyah. The fare is usually quite low, around 5-10 EGP. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Al Walideyah Al Qebleyah. Once you get off, you can walk about 500 meters to the west towards the coordinates 55RG+W57. Follow the local signs or ask nearby residents for directions if needed.
