Take the Cairo Metro Line 1 (the red line) towards El-Marg. Get off at the 'Sadat' station. From there, exit the station and head towards Tahrir Square. Walk straight towards the Nile River and look for the signs toward Kasr El Nil Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with El-Refaey Street. Turn right on El-Refaey Street and walk straight until you see the Al-Rifa'i Mosque on your left.

Find a local bus that heads towards El-Darb El-Ahmar. You can ask locals for the nearest bus stop. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you are heading to Al-Rifa'i Mosque. The bus will take you close to the mosque. When you get off, walk towards El-Refaey Street; the mosque should be a short walk away, clearly visible.

If you are near the Citadel of Cairo, you can walk to Al-Rifa'i Mosque. Head south from the Citadel and take the road towards Salah El-Din Al-Ayoubi Street.
