Getting There

• Metro

  If you are near a Metro station, take the Metro Line 1 (the red line) towards El Marg. Get off at the 'Sadat' station, which is located near Tahrir Square. From there, exit the station and head west towards the Nile River. You can follow the signs to Tahrir Square and then walk across the bridge to Zamalek. Cairo Tower is located on Kasr Al Nile Street in Zamalek, just a short walk from the bridge.

• Bus

  Look for a bus heading towards Zamalek or Kasr Al Nile. Buses are frequent and can be boarded from various bus stops around Cairo. Make sure to ask the driver if they go to Zamalek. Once you arrive in Zamalek, disembark and walk towards Kasr Al Nile Street. Follow the street signs to Cairo Tower, which is a prominent landmark and visible from many areas in Zamalek.

• Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  You can hail a taxi or use a ride-sharing app to get to Cairo Tower. Simply tell the driver 'Cairo Tower' or 'Kasr Al Nile in Zamalek.' The ride should take approximately 15-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, Cairo Tower will be easily visible as it is one of the tallest structures in Cairo.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby in Zamalek or close to the Nile, you can walk to Cairo Tower. Head towards the Nile River and follow the riverside promenade, which leads directly to Kasr Al Nile. The tower is a well-known landmark, so you can ask locals for directions if needed. It’s a pleasant walk with beautiful views of the river.
