Getting There

• Metro

  Take the Cairo Metro Line 1 (the red line) towards El-Marg. Get off at the 'Sadat' station. From there, exit the station and walk towards Tahrir Square. Once at Tahrir Square, head east along 26th of July Street until you reach the intersection with Mohamed Mahmoud Street. Turn left onto Mohamed Mahmoud Street and continue walking until you reach the intersection with El-Gamaleya Street. Turn right onto El-Gamaleya Street, and you will find the Qalawun Complex on your left.

• Bus

  Take any bus heading towards Tahrir Square. Once you arrive at Tahrir Square, walk towards 26th of July Street. Walk east along 26th of July Street until you reach the intersection with Mohamed Mahmoud Street. Turn left onto Mohamed Mahmoud Street and continue until you reach El-Gamaleya Street. Turn right onto El-Gamaleya Street, and the Qalawun Complex will be on your left.

• Walking

  If you are near Tahrir Square, you can walk to the Qalawun Complex. Start at Tahrir Square and walk towards 26th of July Street. From there, head east until you reach the intersection with Mohamed Mahmoud Street. Turn left onto Mohamed Mahmoud Street, continue straight until you reach El-Gamaleya Street, and then turn right. The Qalawun Complex will be on your left.

• Taxi

  You can take a taxi from anywhere in Cairo. Ask the driver to take you to 'Qalawun Complex' in El-Gamaleya. Make sure to have the address written down in Arabic: '27X6+Q94, El-Gamaleya, Cairo.' The taxi will drop you off near the complex.
