Getting there

Walking

If you are somewhere in Zamalek, the easiest way to reach Cairo Tower is to head towards the Nile Corniche. Start by walking towards the main road, which is called 'Gezira St.' Once you reach Gezira St., turn left and continue walking straight. You will see the Cairo Tower ahead as you approach the river. It's located at the end of the street on the island of Gezira, right by the Nile. The walk should take about 10-15 minutes depending on your exact starting point.

Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride along the Nile Corniche to reach Cairo Tower. Start by getting on Gezira St. and head towards the river. The ride is scenic and should take about 10 minutes. Just be cautious of pedestrians and traffic as you navigate through Zamalek.

Public Bus

If you prefer to use public transportation, look for a bus heading towards 'Downtown' from a nearby bus stop in Zamalek. Make sure to check the bus route signs or ask locals for assistance. Get off at the 'Cairo Tower' stop, which is a short walk from the bus stop. The bus fare is typically around 5 EGP.

Ferry

For a unique experience, you can take a ferry across the Nile. Head to the nearest ferry station along the Nile Corniche. Purchase a ticket for around 10 EGP. Once on the ferry, enjoy the views of the Nile, and disembark at the station closest to Cairo Tower. From there, it’s a short walk to the tower.
