Getting there

Walking

If you are staying in central Marsa Alam, ask for directions to the local mosque, a well-known landmark. From the mosque, head east on El-Mahmya Road past local shops. After a 20-minute walk, look for a small path on your right leading to a cluster of palm trees. Follow this path for 10 minutes to reach the shrine. No costs involved.

Public Transport

From the center of Marsa Alam, go to the main bus station near the town square. Take a minibus towards the Abu Dabbab area. The fare is around 10-15 EGP. After about 30 minutes, get off where the road forks towards the local shrine area. Walk straight for about 10 minutes to reach the shrine.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Marsa Alam. A short taxi ride from the city center to the shrine area will cost approximately 20-50 EGP, but agree on the fare before starting your journey. You can also use ride-sharing apps.
