If you're traveling by car, start from Aswan city center. Head south on the Corniche Road, following the signs towards the Aswan High Dam. Continue for about 15 kilometers (9 miles) until you reach the intersection with the road to Sheyakhah Thaneyah. Turn right here and follow the road for approximately 5 kilometers (3 miles). The Famine Stela will be on your left, marked by a small sign. Parking is available nearby.

For public transport, take a microbus or minibus from Aswan city center heading towards the Aswan High Dam. These minibuses can be found near the main bus station. Inform the driver that you're going to Famine Stela, and they will drop you off at the closest point. It will take around 30-40 minutes to reach the site. From the drop-off point, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer (0.6 miles) to reach the Famine Stela.
Walking
If you are already near Sheyakhah Thaneyah, you can walk to the Famine Stela. Head to the coordinates 24.0575567, 32.8742045, which is the exact location of the Stela. Use a smartphone map application for navigation. The area is largely flat, making it a straightforward walk.
