Once you reach Suchitoto, follow the signs to 'Cascada Los Tercios.' You will drive on Carr. a Cinquera, which will lead you directly to the waterfall. The total driving distance is approximately 50 km, and it takes about 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic.

To reach Cascada Los Tercios using public transportation, take a bus from San Salvador to Suchitoto. Buses to Suchitoto leave from the Terminal de Occidente. The fare is usually around $1.50. The bus ride takes approximately 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Suchitoto, you can take a local taxi or a tuk-tuk to Carr. a Cinquera, which is where the waterfall is located. The taxi fare should be around $5-7. It's advisable to arrange for the taxi to wait for you if you plan to return to Suchitoto after your visit.
