    From the central area of La Libertad, head to the main bus terminal located on Calle de la Libertad. Look for buses heading towards San Salvador or Antiguo Cuscatlán. The fare is approximately $0.50. Board the bus and inform the driver you are heading to the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The driver will drop you off near the entrance of the basilica.

    If you are near the Antiguo Cuscatlán area, you can walk to the Basilica. Start at the nearest major intersection, Avenida El Espino and Calle La Paz. Walk towards the Panamericana highway (Carr. Panamericana) and turn left. Continue walking on Carr. Panamericana for about 1 km until you see the Basilica on your right side. It’s a straightforward walk and will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
