From the main entrance of Santa Ana Volcano National Park, head east towards the main road. Once you reach the paved road, turn left and continue walking straight. After about 1 kilometer, you will find a small bus stop on your right. This stop is for local buses heading to Santa Ana city center.

Board a local bus heading to Santa Ana. The fare is usually around $0.50, and the ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at Avenida Independencia Sur, near Parque Libertad.

Once you get off the bus at Avenida Independencia Sur, you will see Parque Libertad directly ahead. Walk towards the park entrance. The park is located about 500 meters down the avenue.
