If you are starting from the Rakvere Castle, head southeast on Tallinna Street (Tallinna tn) towards the city center. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Vabaduse Street (Vabaduse tn). Turn left onto Vabaduse Street and walk for about 400 meters. You will see Virumaa Muuseumid SA located at Tallinna 5a on your right side, just after the intersection with Turu Street.

From Rakvere Bus Station, you can take Bus Line 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at the stop named 'Vabaduse' (about 5 minutes ride). Once you get off, head northeast on Vabaduse Street until you reach Tallinna Street. Turn left onto Tallinna Street and walk about 200 meters. Virumaa Muuseumid SA will be on your left at Tallinna 5a.
