If you are starting from the center of Addis Ababa, head towards Meskel Square. From Meskel Square, walk towards Churchill Avenue and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Algeria Street. Turn left onto Algeria Street and continue walking. The Ethnological Museum is located at 2QW5+P3Q on Algeria Street. Look for signs indicating the museum, which is situated within the grounds of the former palace of Haile Selassie.

From anywhere in Addis Ababa, look for a minibus heading towards the Gulele area. You can catch a minibus at various stations in the city center, such as near Mercato or Meskel Square. Ask the conductor for a ride to 'Arada' or 'Gulele.' Once you arrive in the Gulele area, get off near Algeria Street.
