Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head southeast on the main road from Arbaminch town center. Follow the signs toward Sikela and continue for about 5 kilometers. Look for a turnoff to the right that leads toward the Kulfo River area. Once you reach the vicinity of the Kulfo River, keep an eye out for signs indicating the park entrance. Parking is available near the entrance of the Kulfo River Greenery Park.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take a minibus or taxi from the Arbaminch central bus station heading towards Sikela. Inform the driver that you are heading to Kulfo River. The fare is typically around 10-20 Ethiopian Birr per person. Once you arrive in Sikela, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer towards the river, following the main road. Ask locals for directions to the park entrance if needed.

• Walking

  If you find yourself close to the Kulfo River but not at the park entrance, you can walk to the park. The area is generally safe for pedestrians, and you can enjoy the local sights as you make your way there. Make sure to have a map or a navigation app handy to help with directions.
