Walking
From the center of Bahir Dar, head south towards the main road (Mekelle Road). Walk along this road until you reach the entrance of the popular Bahir Dar Market. Continue straight past the market for about 10 minutes until you see the sign for Tana view on your right. The location will be near the coordinates J93V+4MC, which is a popular viewpoint.
Bicycle
Start at the Bahir Dar city center and rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head south towards the main road (Mekelle Road). Once you reach the main road, turn right and continue for approximately 1.5 kilometers. Look for the signs indicating Tana view on your right side. The area is fairly flat, making it a pleasant ride.
