Walking
Start from the center of Dire Dawa at the main bus station (known as 'Mekelle Bus Station'). From there, head southeast on the main road (Bole Road) for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Jeldesa Street. Turn left onto Jeldesa Street and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. As you walk, you will pass various shops and local eateries where you can experience the local culture. Keep an eye out for street signs directing you towards Yabalo Park. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Yabalo Park, located at the coordinates P4G5+3F, Jeldesa.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop near the center of Dire Dawa. Start your journey from the main bus station and follow the same route as pedestrians: head southeast on Bole Road for 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with Jeldesa Street, turn left and cycle for about 1 kilometer. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes, depending on your speed. Yabalo Park will be on your left as you approach the coordinates P4G5+3F, Jeldesa.
Public Transport
To reach Yabalo Park using public transportation, find a local minibus that is heading towards Jeldesa. Board the minibus at any of the main stops around Dire Dawa, particularly near the central bus station. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Jeldesa. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes. Once you disembark, head east along Jeldesa Street for about 500 meters, and you will see Yabalo Park on your left, located at coordinates P4G5+3F, Jeldesa.
