Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the main entrance of Gambella National Park. Head southeast on the main park road towards Gejeda. Follow the road for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach a fork. Keep to the left at the fork, continuing on the main road. After about 15 more kilometers, you will see a sign for Garjeeda forest on your right. Turn right and drive for another 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance of the forest area.

To use public transportation, head to the nearest bus station in Gambella town. Look for a bus or minibus heading towards Gejeda. The fare is typically around 20 Ethiopian Birr. Inform the driver that you want to get dropped off near Garjeeda forest. Once you reach Gejeda, you may need to hire a local tuk-tuk or taxi for the last 5 kilometers to the forest entrance.
