Starting from the Lalibela town center, head southeast towards the main road (Mekele-Lalibela Road). Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection near the Lalibela Church. Take a left turn onto the dirt road that leads towards the hiking area. Follow this path for approximately 20 minutes, enjoying the scenic views. You will notice signs indicating the direction to አንደኛው ድልድይ. As you approach, keep an eye out for local guides who may offer assistance. The area is marked on your right-hand side, approximately 1 km from the main road.

If you are at the Rock-Hewn Churches of Lalibela, walk back towards the town center, then follow the previous directions towards the main road. Instead of taking the left turn, continue straight for about 15 minutes until you see a path leading up the hill. This path will take you directly to አንደኛው ድልድይ. The hike may be steep in some areas, so be prepared for a bit of a workout!

From the Lalibela airport, you can walk towards the town center, which takes about 30 minutes. Once in the town center, follow the same directions as above towards the main road. This route is longer, but it allows you to experience the local culture and daily life of Lalibela.
