If you are starting from the center of Kvívík, head northeast towards the main road, Mýravegur. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by a few houses on your left and right side. Keep an eye out for any signs indicating the direction to Runavík. Once you reach the intersection with the main road, turn left onto Mýravegur. Vistarheimið will be located on your right. Look for the marker 473H+JGJ - it is a nature preserve area, and the entrance is clearly indicated.

Alternatively, if you are near the local church in Kvívík, start by walking towards the east along the path that leads to Mýravegur. Once you hit Mýravegur, turn right and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. Vistarheimið will be on the right-hand side of the road, identifiable by its scenic views and nature preserve signage.
