From the center of Strendur, head northeast on the main road (Route 10) towards the village of Funningur. Continue walking straight for approximately 5 kilometers. You will pass through some scenic landscapes and small farms. Once you reach Funningur, you will need to change direction. Look for signs pointing to Gjógv, which will direct you to take a left onto Route 11. Walk along Route 11 for about 2 kilometers until you reach the village of Gjógv.
