Start from the center of Tvøroyri, where you can find the main square. Head southwest towards the harbor area, walking along the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the road named 'Gøtuvøttur'. Follow this road as it curves to the right. Keep an eye out for signs indicating hiking trails towards Slave Cliff. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will notice a path branching off on your left towards Slave Cliff. Follow this path, which will lead you up to the beautiful Lake Above the Ocean. The hike may take around 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Tvøroyri, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the main square. Take the bus that heads towards Miðvágur, specifically ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for 'Tróndargøta'. Once you get off, you will be in the vicinity of Slave Cliff. From the bus stop, follow the signs directing you toward the hiking trail. The trail leads to the Lake Above the Ocean and should take about 25 minutes to reach.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from a local shop in Tvøroyri. Start at the main square and head southwest towards the harbor.
