Getting There

• Public Transport

  If you're starting from the Helsinki city center, head to the nearest metro station, 'Kamppi'. Take the metro line M1 towards 'Ruoholahti'. After one stop, get off at 'Central Railway Station' (Rautatieasema). From there, transfer to tram line 3. Board the tram heading towards 'Hietalahti'. Stay on the tram for about 11 stops and get off at 'Kaivopuisto'. Once you exit the tram, walk straight towards the coastline, and you will see the entrance to Kaivopuisto park. Walk through the park until you reach Ehrenströmintie, where the Kaivopuiston tähtitorni is located at Ehrenströmintie 1.

  If you are already near the Esplanade Park, walk towards the south, following the coastline. Continue walking until you reach Kaivopuisto Park. As you enter the park, keep walking towards the northern end where you will find the Kaivopuiston tähtitorni at Ehrenströmintie 1. The park has clear paths and signs that will guide you along the way.

  For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental stations in Helsinki. Start from the city center and head south along the shoreline.
