Travel Guide to Ravintola Näsinneula

Getting There

• Public Transport

  If you are in the center of Tampere, start at the main bus station (Tampereen linja-autoasema) located at the address Hatanpään Valtatie 11. From there, take bus number 3 towards 'Lielahdenkatu.' The bus will take you directly to the stop called 'Särkänniemi.' The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Once you arrive at the Särkänniemi stop, exit the bus and head towards the Särkänniemi amusement park. Walk towards the lake, following the signs to Ravintola Näsinneula, which is located at Laiturikatu 1, situated on top of the Näsinneula observation tower. It’s a short walk of about 5 minutes to reach the restaurant.

• Walking

  If you are near the Tampere Cathedral (Tuomiokirkko), start by heading south on the street called Kirkkokatu. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Hämeenpuisto; turn left onto Hämeenpuisto. Walk along Hämeenpuisto until you reach the next major intersection with Hatanpään Valtatie, and then turn right. Follow this road until you see signs for Särkänniemi amusement park. The walk will take about 25-30 minutes. Once you arrive at Särkänniemi, follow the path leading to the Näsinneula observation tower, where Ravintola Näsinneula is located.

• Tram

  From the Tampere Railway Station, board tram number 1 heading towards 'Pyynikintori.' After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Särkänniemi' stop. After you exit the tram, follow the pedestrian path towards Särkänniemi amusement park. The Ravintola Näsinneula is located atop the observation tower, which you can see from the stop. It’s a short 5-minute walk from the tram stop to the restaurant.
