Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Turku, which is the largest city in Varsinais-Suomi. From the center of Turku, drive northeast on E18 route. After around 5 km, take the exit toward E8, and continue on E8 for about 3 km. Use the exit toward Turku city center and follow the signs to the Park of Finland Proper, which is located at the address 20540 Turku. There is limited street parking available nearby; ensure to check for any parking fees.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, start at the Turku bus station or the Turku railway station. You can take bus number 1 or 2, which will take you towards the city center. Get off at the stop labeled 'Humalistonkatu', which is close to the park. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Park of Finland Proper. As of the last update, a single bus ticket costs around €3.50.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore the area by bike, you can rent one from various locations in Turku. Use the city's cycling paths to reach the park. Follow the signs towards the city center, and then head towards the coastal area where the park is situated. It's about a 5 km ride from the city center, and the route is generally flat and scenic.

• Walking

  If you're already in the vicinity of Turku city center, you can walk to the Park of Finland Proper. It's about a 20-minute walk from the main square (Turku Market Square). Head northeast on the street 'Aurakatu' and continue until you reach the park area. This is a pleasant route with plenty of shops and cafes along the way.
