You can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops along Fort Lauderdale Beach. Head west from the beach area on the bike lanes towards Las Olas Boulevard. Once at Las Olas, turn left and ride until you reach the intersection with E Sunrise Blvd. Turn right onto E Sunrise Blvd and continue riding for about 0.4 miles. The entrance to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park will be on your right at 3109 E Sunrise Blvd.

From Fort Lauderdale Beach, locate the nearest bus stop along A1A. Take the Broward County Transit bus route 11 heading towards Broward Central Terminal. You will need to ride for about 10 minutes and then get off at the stop closest to E Sunrise Blvd. Walk east along E Sunrise Blvd for about 0.2 miles. The entrance to Hugh Taylor Birch State Park will be on your left at 3109 E Sunrise Blvd. Please check the current bus fare, which is typically around $2.00.
