Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Miami Beach, start by getting on the MacArthur Causeway (I-395) from Alton Road or Collins Avenue. Follow the signs for I-95 South, and merge onto I-95 S. After about 5 miles, take exit 2C for US-1 S toward Key West. Continue on US-1 S for approximately 5 miles, then take the exit for Virginia Key. Follow the signs to Virginia Beach Drive, and you will find Historic Virginia Key Beach Park at 4020 Virginia Beach Dr, Miami, FL 33149. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around $5 to $10 depending on the day.

  From Miami Beach, you can take the Metrobus route 119 from the Collins Avenue and 21st Street stop. This route will take you to the nearest Metrobus stop at US-1 and 41st Street, which is approximately a 20-minute ride. After getting off the bus, you will need to walk approximately 1.2 miles to reach Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. Alternatively, you can take the Metro Mover to the Brickell Station and transfer to the Metrorail. From there, take the Metrorail to the Vizcaya Station.
