Car
If you are driving from the Orlando Theme Parks, start by getting onto FL-528 W (the Beachline Expressway) from International Drive. Follow FL-528 W for about 10 miles, then take the exit toward I-4 N. Merge onto I-4 N and continue for approximately 5 miles. Take exit 78 for FL-438 toward Hiawassee Road. Merge onto FL-438 W and continue straight until you reach S Hiawassee Rd. Turn left onto S Hiawassee Rd and continue for about 1 mile. Bill Frederick Park will be on your left at 3401 S Hiawassee Rd. Note that parking at the park is free.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, take the Lynx Bus Route 37 from the nearest bus stop in the Orlando Theme Parks area. This route typically runs every 30 minutes. Ride the bus towards the West Oaks Mall and get off at the stop nearest to Hiawassee Rd. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Bill Frederick Park. Walk south on S Hiawassee Rd until you reach the park entrance at 3401 S Hiawassee Rd. Be sure to check the Lynx website for the latest schedule and fares, which are usually around $2 per ride.
