From the Château d'Angers, walk northeast along the Esplanade du Quai Ligny towards the Maine river. Cross the Quai and turn right onto the Quai Monge. Continue along the Quai Monge until you reach the Montée Saint-Maurice, a stepped street leading uphill. Ascend the Montée Saint-Maurice; the Cathédrale Saint-Maurice will be directly in front of you at the top. The walk is approximately 5-10 minutes, offering scenic views.
