Public Transport
From Bourg-Saint-Maurice train station, the most convenient way to reach Les Arcs is via the funicular, which directly connects to Arc 1600 in just 7 minutes. The funicular station is located a short walk (or free shuttle ride) from the train station. In winter, access to the funicular is free upon presentation of your train ticket. Otherwise, a single ticket costs €3 for adults and €2.50 for children (ages 5-12). A round-trip ticket costs €5 for adults and €4 for children. Children under 5 ride free. From Arc 1600, free shuttle buses provide access to Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000. These buses run frequently, timed to coincide with the funicular arrivals. Check the local tourist office for the most up-to-date bus schedules. In summer, the funicular is free for pedestrians.

Taxi/Ride-Share
Taxis are available from Bourg-Saint-Maurice train station to all Les Arcs villages. This is a more expensive option, but can be convenient for groups or those with lots of luggage. Expect to pay around €40-€60 for a taxi to Arc 1600, with prices increasing for the higher villages. Taxis cannot be booked from the top of the funicular, only from Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

If driving, follow signs for Les Arcs from Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Be aware that parking in Les Arcs can be limited, especially during peak season. Arc 1600 has free outdoor parking. Arc 1950 is a car-free village with mandatory indoor paid parking. Arcs 1800 and 2000 have both outdoor and indoor parking available for a fee. Parking fees in Arc 2000 are approximately €23.40 for 24 hours. Consider booking parking in advance through the Les Arcs tourist office website. Free parking is available 2km away at Pre St Espirit, with a free shuttle bus to Arc 2000 or 1950.
