If you are starting from the Colmar train station (Gare de Colmar), exit the station and head east on Avenue de la République. Continue for about 600 meters until you reach Place de la Gare. From there, turn left onto Rue du Ladhof and walk until you reach the intersection with Rue des Écoles. Turn right onto Rue des Écoles and continue straight until you reach Place de l'Ancienne Douane. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful architecture before continuing. From Place de l'Ancienne Douane, take Rue des Marchands, which leads you directly to the historic center of Colmar. Follow the signs towards the Petite Venise area, and continue along the canals until you reach Place des Dominicains. From there, head northeast on Rue des Têtes, and then turn onto Rue des Moulins. Finally, head towards Rue du Ladhof and continue until you reach Square de la Montagne Verte, which should be visible from the main road.

From the Colmar train station, take Bus Line 1 towards 'Wintzenheim' or Bus Line 2 towards 'Houssen'. Get off at the stop 'Gare Routière' which is just a short walk from Square de la Montagne Verte. Once you disembark, walk south on Rue du Ladhof. Continue straight for about 300 meters and you will see Square de la Montagne Verte on your right.
