Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major city, Mende. Head south on the D901 road towards Florac. After approximately 25 kilometers, follow the signs for Dargilan, which is located just outside of Meyrueis. The Grotte de Dargilan is well signposted, and you can park in the free parking lot available on-site. The address is Dargilan, 48150 Meyrueis.
Public Transportation
To reach Grotte de Dargilan by public transport, take a train to the nearest station, which is in Mende. From Mende, catch a regional bus (Ligne 4) that goes to Meyrueis. The bus journey will take about 50 minutes. Once you arrive in Meyrueis, you can either walk to the grotto, which is around 3 kilometers away, or take a local taxi. Please check the bus schedule in advance as services may vary.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Mende or Meyrueis to Grotte de Dargilan. Taxi services are available at the train station in Mende, and the trip will take approximately 30 minutes.
