Walking
From the center of Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, near the Tourist Office, Abbey St. Andrew is a pleasant uphill walk of approximately 15-20 minutes. Follow the signs for 'Fort Saint-André' as the Abbey is located within the Fort's walls. The path winds through the old town, passing the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame. Continue upwards along Montée du Fort. The entrance to the Abbey is clearly marked near the top of the hill, just before the entrance to Fort Saint-André. Note that the final section of the path is a moderately steep climb.

From Avignon, take bus line 5 towards Cigalières. Get off at the 'Office de Tourisme' stop in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. From there, follow the walking directions (approximately 15-20 minutes uphill) to reach the Abbey, following signs for Fort Saint-André. A single bus fare costs €1-2.

From Avignon, cross the Rhône River and follow signs to Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Once in Villeneuve, follow signs for 'Fort Saint-André'.
