Walking
From the center of Croix-Rousse (Place de la Croix-Rousse), head east on Rue de la République. Continue straight until you reach Rue des Farges. Turn left onto Rue des Farges and walk until you reach the intersection with Rue des Tables Clauzel. Turn right onto Rue des Tables Clauzel and continue until you hit Place des Tapis. The Mur des Tapis will be on your left.
Public Transport
If you are at a metro station like Croix-Rousse (Line C), take the metro towards Hotel de Ville. Get off at the next stop, which is 'Hôtel de Ville - Louis Pradel.' From there, exit the station and walk towards Rue de la République. Head northeast on Rue de la République and continue until you reach Rue des Farges. Turn left onto Rue des Farges and follow it to Place des Tapis. The Mur des Tapis will be visible from the square.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from a local bike-sharing service. Start at Place de la Croix-Rousse and head down Rue de la République. Follow the cycle lanes until you reach Rue des Farges and turn left. Continue until you arrive at Place des Tapis. There are bike racks available near the Mur des Tapis for parking.
