Car
If you're driving, start from central Marseille. Take the A50 motorway towards Toulon. Exit at 'Marseille - La Ciotat' (exit 1). After exiting, follow signs for D559 towards Cassis. Continue on D559, which will take you through scenic coastal roads. Once you reach Cassis, follow the signs for 'Calanques'. Park at the designated parking area near the entrance to the national park. From the parking area, follow the marked trails leading to Calanque de Flancadou. The hike will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
Public Transportation
To reach Calanque de Flancadou using public transport, start from Marseille Saint-Charles train station. Take a train towards Cassis (check the SNCF website for the latest schedule). Once you arrive in Cassis, exit the train station and walk to the bus stop. Catch the bus (line 22) towards 'Calanques de Cassis'. Get off at the 'Calanque de Port Miou' stop. From there, follow the marked hiking trails to Calanque de Flancadou, which takes about 30-40 minutes on foot. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return trips, as they can be limited.
