Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Marseille. Get onto the A50 highway from Rue de la République. Follow the A50 for approximately 20 kilometers towards Cassis. Take exit 7 toward Cassis/La Ciotat. Continue on D141 road which leads you directly into Cassis. Once in Cassis, follow signs to the Calanques National Park. You can park at the designated parking areas near the entrance to the trails leading to Cassis rock. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €5-€10 depending on the season.

Public Transportation
To reach Cassis rock using public transportation, start at the Marseille Saint-Charles train station. Take the TER train towards Toulon and get off at Cassis station. The train ride takes about 30 minutes and tickets cost approximately €5-€7. Once you arrive at Cassis station, follow the signs to the town center (about a 15-minute walk). From the center, you can either walk or take a local bus (Line 24) to the Calanques National Park. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes and costs around €1.50. From the bus stop, you will need to walk about 30 minutes to reach the viewpoint of Cassis rock.

Hiking
If you are already in the Calanques area, you can hike to Cassis rock. Start from the Port Miou marina in Cassis, where you can either walk or take a boat taxi (may have an additional cost) to the hiking trail entrance. The hike to Cassis rock from the marina takes about 1.5 hours and offers stunning views of the coastline. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry plenty of water for the hike.
