Walking
From the central bus station (Gare Routière), exit towards the main street, Avenue de la République. Head east on Avenue de la République until you reach Place de la Comédie, a large open square with the famous Opéra Comédie. From there, continue straight onto Boulevard du Jeu de Paume, then take a right onto Rue de la République. Continue until you reach Antigone, a modern architectural area with distinct buildings. The walk will take about 20 minutes.
Tram
From Place de la Comédie, board the tram Line 1 (the yellow line) towards Odysseum. Get off at the next stop, which is 'Antigone'. Once you exit the tram, you will find yourself in the heart of the Antigone area. The tram ride is approximately 5 minutes, and the trams run frequently.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations located throughout Montpellier. Start from Place de la Comédie and cycle straight down Boulevard du Jeu de Paume. Follow the road as it curves and becomes Avenue de la Mer. Continue until you reach Antigone. This route is about 2 kilometers and should take around 10 minutes.
