Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Strasbourg train station (Gare de Strasbourg), exit the station and head towards the main road, Avenue de la Liberté. Turn left onto Avenue de la Liberté and continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Place de la République. From there, head towards Rue de la Mésange, where you will see signs directing you to the Cathedral. Continue on Rue de la Mésange, then take a right onto Rue du Temple Neuf, which leads you directly to the Cathedral.

• Tram

  From the Strasbourg train station (Gare de Strasbourg), take tram line A towards 'Illkirch Lixenbuhl' or tram line D towards 'Poteries'. Get off at the stop 'Homme de Fer'. Once you exit the tram, follow the signs to Rue des Grandes Arcades, then continue straight until you reach Place de la Cathédrale. The Cathedral is located right in the square.

• Bus

  From any bus stop in Strasbourg, find a bus that goes to 'Homme de Fer' (a central hub). Once you arrive at Homme de Fer, follow the signs towards Rue des Grandes Arcades, and continue straight. You will arrive at Place de la Cathédrale, where the Cathedral is located.

• Bicycle

  If you are renting a bicycle, head towards the city center. Follow signs for the bike lanes that lead to the Cathedral. A good route is to take the cycle path along the river Ill, which will lead you to the center. Once you arrive in the area of Place de la Cathédrale, find a bike rack to lock your bike, and walk the remaining distance to the Cathedral.
