If you're starting from the main town of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, take the D952 road towards the east, which will lead you through the beautiful countryside. Continue on the D952 for about 25 km until you reach the intersection with the D23 road. Turn left onto D23 and follow the signs for Rougon. After approximately 10 km, you will arrive in the village of Rougon. Parking is available near the Corniche Sublime viewpoint, but spaces can fill up quickly, so consider arriving early.

To reach Corniche Sublime using public transportation, you can take a bus from Moustiers-Sainte-Marie to the town of Castellane. From Castellane, catch the regional bus (line 42) heading towards Digne-les-Bains. You need to get off at the stop for Rougon. Once you arrive in Rougon, it’s about a 15-minute walk to the viewpoint. Please check the local bus schedules in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends and holidays.

Once in Rougon, the walk to Corniche Sublime is a lovely trek. From the main square, head towards the marked trail that leads to the viewpoint. It’s approximately a 1 km hike that ascends gently, providing stunning views of the Verdon Gorge along the way.
