Walking
Start at the Versailles Rive Gauche train station. Exit the station and head straight onto Avenue de Paris. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the Place d'Armes. From there, you can see the grand entrance of the Palace of Versailles. Enjoy the gardens and the main courtyard, then exit the palace grounds and walk towards the Avenue de Saint-Cloud. After about 5 minutes, you should reach the Avenue de Saint-Cloud bus stop. Take the bus number 171 towards Paris. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the stop 'Châtelet - Les Halles'. From there, walk towards Rue Saint-Martin, which is about a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. The entrance to Passage de l'Ancre will be on your left at 223 Rue Saint-Martin.

From the Versailles Rive Gauche train station, take the RER C train towards Paris. You will need to get off at the 'Saint-Michel - Notre-Dame' stop (about 20 minutes). Once you arrive, follow the signs to the 'RER B' and transfer to the RER B line. Take the train towards 'Robinson' or 'Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse' to the next stop 'Châtelet - Les Halles'. After disembarking, exit towards Rue de Rivoli and follow the signs to Rue Saint-Martin. It is roughly a 10-minute walk from the station to Passage de l'Ancre at 223 Rue Saint-Martin.
